Seating Plan

Cambridge Theatre seating plan
The Cambridge Theatre opened in 1930 and has, like many Art Deco era theatres, a simple layout. The auditorium is spread over three levels, the Stalls, Dress Circle and Upper Circle and has around 1,300 seats. The theatre was originally designed as a cinema, which means that there tend to be good clear views of the stage area without any pillar obstructions. The best seats tend to be in the central section of the Stalls and in the front central section of the Dress Circles. These seats are considered to be premium seats which means, although they have excellent views of the stage, they are also the most expensive. Bargain seats tend to be available in the Upper Circle which, although can feel quite high up and far back from the stage, has a good clear view of the action. £5 Matilda the Musical day seats are available for those under the age of 26. Day seats are also placed in the Upper Circle. Please see the seating table below for detailed information on where to for a variety of budgets.
