FishworksFishWorks (0.1 miles)

For those after a classy pre-theatre meal, FishWorks is perfect. Situated just slightly away from the hustle and bustle, Swallow Street has a somewhat European vibe about it and FishWorks is an excellent addition. The key is in the name here; the restaurant served beautiful cooked fresh fish, so perfect for seafood lovers. However if you do not like fish, fret not, they also serve steak and meat free options, such as a feta and chargrilled artichoke linguine.

"As a fish lover myself, I started off with a few rock oysters, followed by grilled south coast scallops for starter. There are a WHOLE LOAD of fabulous dishes on the menu and I truly wish I could have eaten them all, but as well as the fabulously fresh oysters and the scallops, I can also personally vouch for the FishWorks Fruits de Mer – which is quite the display when it arrives at your table, packed to the brim with mussels, clams, crab, king prawns and oysters! Hurrah!

FishWorks is not just about the fish either; there is an excellent array of desserts available including Eton Mess (YES!) and fresh lemon tart with sorbet which are both a delight!

If you are on a slightly tighter budget or need something quick before the theatre, the restaurant also offers a lunch and pre theatre menu for £15.95 for two courses and features some classic tasty dishes."
