The Dominion Theatre is right in the heart of London in Tottenham Court Road and just a stones throw away from Centre Point. The theatre is practically part of Tottenham Court Road tube station! As the Dominion is so central, it is surrounded by bars, restaurants, hotels and a wealth of transportation links. The nearest National Rail stations to the Dominion Theatre are Euston and Charing Cross, which are both just under a 20 minute walk away from the theatre. If 20 minutes walking time sounds like a bit too much, there are also tubes that go directly from both stations to Tottenham Court Road, the location of the Dominion.
Charing Cross (15 minutes): Head outside the station and Cross over the traffic lights immediately ahead of you. Turn left towards Trafalgar Square and then take the first right up St Martin’s Place. Continue up the road, past Leicester Square Tube Station, as the road becomes Charing Cross Road. Keep walking ahead for 10 minutes and you will see the theatre straight ahead of you. Alternatively you can get the Northern Line (north bound) from Charing Cross to Tottenham Court Road (2 stops)
Euston (18 minutes): Head straight out of the station and turn right down Euston Rd. Continue forwards until you reach the cross roads by Warren Street Station. Turn left down Tottenham Court Road and continue straight ahead. Tottenham Court road is quite long but after around 10 minutes of walking forwards you will see the theatre ahead of you. Alternatively you can get the Northern Line (south bound) from Euston Station to Tottenham Court Road (3 stops)
The nearest tube station to the theatre is without a doubt Tottenham Court Road (Central and Northern lines) as the theatre is situated literally at the tubes entrance and exit.Leicester Square tube station (Northern and Piccadilly Lines) is within walking distance.
Tottenham Court Road (0 minutes): The theatre is immediately outside the station.
Leicester Square (6 minutes): Exit the station on Charing Cross Road and head left up the road towards Tottenham Court Road. Follow the road until you meet Tottenham Court road and then turn left. You will see the theatre ahead of you on the opposite side of the road.
The following buses stop at Tottenham Court Road: 7, 10, 14, 24, 29, 134, 242.
The Dominion Theatre is situated within the London Congestion Charge Zone which applies weekdays from 7am until 6pm (not bank holidays) and costs £11.50 per day. If you are driving to the theatre after 6pm then you will not have to pay the charge.
The nearest car park to the Dominion Theatre is the NCP Adeline Place Car park located on Great Russell Street (WC1B 3AJ.) Parking costs £25 for a 2-4 hour stay.
