Rail


The nearest rail station to the Duchess Theatre is Charing Cross. From Charing Cross rail Station, cross the road at the traffic lights and head right up the strand. Once you reach the Stand/Aldwych junction then take the second left onto Catherine Street.

Tube


The closest tube stations are Covent Garden (Piccadilly line) and Charing Cross (Northern and Bakerloo lines).

From Covent Garden: Head up Long Acre towards Bow Street. Turn right down Bow Street until you hit Russell Street. Then bear left and head straight down Catherine Street.

Car


The Duchess Theatre is in the London Congestion Charge Zone which applies from 7am until 6pm and costs £11.50 per day to drive within. If you are driving to the theatre after 6pm then charges will not apply.

The nearest car park is the nearest car park is the Covent Garden Parker Street car park. Parking costs £24 for 2-4 hours and the car park is open 24hrs a day.

The Duchess Theatre is part of the Q-Park Theatreland scheme, in which theatregoers can save 50% on parking. The nearest participating Q-Park car park is just over a five minute walk away in China Town (WC2H 7PR.) With the Q Park Theatreland discount, 3 hours parking will cost £9 and 4 hours £12. Drivers must have their tickets validated at the theatre.

Taxi


As the theatre is in the centre of London, there are always black cabs that can be hailed down, especially on the Strand. There is also a designated taxi rank at Charing Cross Rail Station.
