The Fortune Theatre is located on Russell Street, just off Drury Lane and Covent Garden.  The theatre is surrounded by a wealth of other top London theatres, and can be found directly opposite the massive Theatre Royal Drury Lane. With just a short walk down to the Strand or up to Holborn, the Fortune Theatre is well connected in terms of transportation.

Rail


The nearest rail station to the Fortune Theatre is Charing Cross. From Charing Cross Rail Station, cross the road at the traffic lights and turn right along The Strand. Once you reach the Aldwych junction, turn left on to Catherine St and then right on to Drury Lane. The Fortune Theatre is opposite the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Tube


The nearest tubes are Covent Garden (Piccadilly line), Holborn (Central line) and Charing Cross (Bakerloo and Northern lines). From Covent Garden tube station, turn right on Long Acre then turn right on to Bow Street then left on to Russell St. From Holborn walk along Kingsway until you reach the Peacock Theatre. Car


The Fortune Theatre is within the London Congestion Charge Zone which applies from 7am until 6pm and costs £11.50 per day. If you are driving to the theatre after 6pm then you will not be charged.

The nearest car park is the Covent Garden Parker Street car park. Parking costs £24 for 2-4 hours and the car park is open 24hrs a day.

The Fortune Theatre is part of the Q-Park Scheme. The nearest participating car park is the 24hr Q Park Chinatown Car Park (20 Newport Place, WC2H 7PR). Parking costs £18 for up to 3hrs, but theatregoers can save 50% if they have their ticket validated at the theatre.

Taxi


It should not be difficult to hail a cab on the street, but there is a designated taxi rank outside Charing Cross train station
