Smash-hit Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights danced into London’s King Cross Theatre with tremendous success, scooping three 2016 Olivier Awards. Following a sell-out run at the Southwark Playhouse in 2014, In the Heights features outstanding choreography and music that plunges you into the scorching, pulsating heat of downtown Manhattan.

Set in the lively community of Washington Heights, In the Heights is a heart-warming tale of love in a community on the brink of change. In a neighbourhood where life can be a struggle, and everyone knows everybody’s business, the streets are alive with passion, hope, dreams and the sweet sounds of Latino, hip-hop inspired music.

In the Heights stars Sam Mackay as Usnavi, alongside Sarah Naudi as Vanessa. Further cast members include Arun Blair-Mangat as Benny, Norma Atallah as Abuela, David Bedella as Kevin, Johnny Bishop as Graffiti Pete, Juliet Gough as Camila, Vas Constanti as Piragua Guy, Gabriela Garcia as Nina, Stephanie Rojas as Carla, Damian Buhagiar as Sonny and Aimie Atkinson as Daniela. Ensemble includes Shanice Burton, Raffaella Covino, Michael Cortez, Reiss Hinds, Paula Kaye, Genesis Lynea, Christopher Tendai, Alex Thomas and Tara Young.

Directed by Luke Sheppard, In the Heights features music and lyrics by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. In the Heights also features sensational choreography by Olivier Award-winning choreographer Drew McOnie and set by Takis. A Broadway sensation that continues to delight London audiences, In the Heights continues to January 2017.
