School of Rock - The Musical
Based on the 2003 film of the same name, starring comic icon Jack Black, School of Rock follows wannabe rock star Dewey Finn who poses as a substitute teacher for money. Once he hears that the children of Horace Green are superbly musically talented, he decides to form his own band – the School of Rock. Featuring an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Glenn Slater, including songs such as “You’re in the Band”, “In the End of Time” and “Teacher’s Pet”.
David Fynn stars as wannabe rock god Dewey Finn, alongside Florence Andrews (Miss Atomic Bomb, The Wizard of Oz) as Rosalie Mullins, Oliver Jackson as Ned Schneebly and Preeya Kalidas (Bend it Like Beckham) as Patty di Marco. Fynn has extensive stage and screen credits, including Sherlock, Game of Thrones and Pete vs. Life. Further adult ensemble includes Gary Trainor as alternate Dewey, Jonathan Bourne, Nadeem Crowe, Michelle Francis, Rosanna Hyland, Cassandra McCowan, Joel Montague, Andy Rees, Cameron Sharp, Tasha Sheridan, Andrew Spillett and Lucy Vandi. Hunter, design by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Natasha Katz and sound design by Mick Potter.
