Don’t miss this rare chance to see Lindsay Lohan make her stage debut with Speed the Plow tickets

Stepping into a role that Madonna originated on Broadway in 1988, Lindsay Lohan makes her stage debut in David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow at London’s Playhouse Theatre.

The show is set amid the busy lives of Hollywood hot shots, Bobby Gould and Charlie Fox, who are due to pitch a movie to the head of a successful film studio. On hearing the news that a “big star” is willing two work with the pair on a new movie, the duo prepare for great success ahead of their pitch. A spanner is thrown in the works, however, when the men begin lusting over their temporary secretary, Karen (Lohan.) The braying gentlemen make a $500 over who can be the first to bed her, suspecting she may not be the usual floozy Hollywood type.

As Gould captures Karen alone he explains the movie industry to her and how various scriptures will never make it. Seemingly naïve, Karen agrees to read a movie book and report her opinions back to Gould that evening at his home. Just as Gould thinks that he may have won the bet, things take a slightly unexpected turn.

Speed-the-Plow will be directed by Lindsay Posner (The Windslow Boy, Noises Off) who has directed several works of Mamet’s in the past.

Further casting is yet to be announced.

Speed-the-Plow will enjoy a limited run between September 24th to November 30th 2014. Book now to see real life Hollywood star Lohan in the flesh.
