The Three Lions

  • Three Lions St James Theatre London 500x350
Following a wildly successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2013 and a small UK Tour, Three Lions arrives at London’s St James Theatre.

A footballer, a prince and a Prime Minister walk into a hotel room…sounds like the start of a fun joke right?

William Gaminara’s play imagines the real goings on between David Cameron, Prince William and David Beckham as they flew to Switzerland ahead of the 2018 world cup bid.

Philip Wilson directs the piece, which imagines several moments of chaos and misunderstanding between the three powerful men. As the three men try to bring the “beautiful game” back to England with no avail things go calamitously wrong. Uh oh!

Sean Browne plays David Beckham with Tom Davey as Prince William and Dugald Bruce-Lockhart as David Cameron.

The show runs at approximately 2 hours with one interval.

Three Lions runs at the St James Theatre for a limited 6 week run from 24th March until the 2nd May 2015. Book now to spend an evening with three of the most influential men in the country!

Child Friendly?

Three Lions is not aimed at children but children over the age of 8 may enjoy the show if accompanied by an adult.
