Getting there

404 Strand
London
WC2R 0NH

The Vaudeville Theatre is located in London’s Theatreland district in the West End of the city. Located on the notorious Strand, the Vaudeville Theatre rubs shoulders with landmarks such as Trafalgar Square and the Savoy hotel. The Strand is a busy area of London that is frequented by many tourists which means it is well connected in terms of transportation links. With bus and tube stops as well as a nearby National Rail station, getting to the Vaudeville Theatre is relatively hassle free. Check www.tfl.gov.uk for London travel updates before you make your journey.

Rail

The nearest rail station to the Vaudeville Theatre is Charing Cross National Rail station (4 minutes walk.) From the station, cross over the road and turn right down the Strand.  Carry on walking for a few minutes. The theatre will be on your left hand side.

Tube

The nearest tubes stations to the Vaudeville are Charing Cross (Bakerloo and Northern lines) and Embankment (Bakerloo, District and Northern lines), which are both a short walk away.

From Charing Cross (4 minutes) - See the above directions in the ‘Rail’ section above.
From Embankment (6 minutes) – Head straight out of the station (City exit, not the Embankment exit) and walk straight up Villers St. At the end of the road turn right down the Strand. Cross the road onto the opposite side and keep walking for a couple of minutes. The theatre will be on your left hand side.

Bus

For buses to the Strand: 6, 9, 11, 13, 15, 23, 87, 91, 139, 176, N47

Car

The Vaudeville Theatre is located in the heart of the London Congestion Charge Zone which applies from 7am until 6pm and costs £11.50 per day. If you are driving to the theatre after 6pm you will not have to pay the charge.

The Vaudeville Theatre is part of the Q-Park Scheme. The nearest participating car park is the 24hr Q Park Chinatown Car Park (20 Newport Place, WC2H 7PR). Parking costs £18 for up to 3hrs, and £24 for 4hrs but theatregoers can save 50% if they have their ticket validated at the theatre.

Taxi

Taxis will be driving around the area and can be flagged from the street however, as the theatre is so close to Charing Cross station, I would recommend heading to the station as there is a designate taxi rank where you can queue up for an available cab.
