Noises Off

Fans of farce and classic comedy will rejoice with Noises Off tickets as the hit show returns to the West End

After a run at Lyric Hammersmith acclaimed by critics and audience alike, Michael Frayn’s classic backstage comedy Noises Off is set to transfer to the Garrick Theatre this September.

Noises Off follows the cast of the disastrous flop Nothing On, following the mishaps and fumbles both on and off stage as the show goes from rehearsal to performance. Anything that can go wrong does, in this hilarious, high-energy farce that will have you rolling in the aisles.

Reprising their roles from the Lyric production, Meera Syal (The Kumars), Daniel Rigby (One Man, Two Guvnors), Lloyd Owen (The York Realist) and Simon Rouse (The Full Monty) will all be part of the Garrick cast.

Writer Michael Frayn has had an illustrious career spanning plays, novels and film, with Noises Off having won him the 1982 Olivier Award for Best Comedy.

Noises Off  is set to be directed by Jeremy Herrin (Wolf Hall, All My Sons), with design from Max Jones and lighting by Amy Mae.

A classic comedy hit that any fans of Mischief Theatre Company’s The Play That Goes Wrong will love, Noises Off begins previews at the Garrick Theatre from 27 September.
