• Air Conditioning: The National Theatre auditoriums are fully air conditioned.
  • Food & Drink: Whilst food and drink are available at the National Theatre, only cold snacks and drinks in plastic cups are allowed into the auditoriums themselves (i.e. no hot food or glass allowed in the seating area.)

Both the Olivier and Lyttelton theatres have their own cloakrooms in which large items can be checked.

The National Theatre has a plethora of dining options, with food available in the Mezzanine, Terrace Bar and Propstore as well as the Olivier and Lyttelton Cafés. There are dining options to suit all budgets and appetites. Please see our restaurants page or the National Theatre website for further details.
