Phoenix Theatre seating plan
First opening in 1930, the Phoenix Theatre is one of the West End's more modern venues, with an auditorium that boasts next to no viewing restrictions. Best known for hosting short-running musicals and comedies, the theatre is built with a neoclassical exterior and Italianate interior with golden engravings and crimson upholstery. With a moderate seating capacity of 1,012, the Phoenix Theatre is built across three levels, including the Stalls, Dress Circle and Grand Circle. Views throughout the theatre are generally good, as there are no obstructing pillars or safety rails. The best seats tend to be in the Stalls and Dress Circle, with some bargain seats to be found in the centre of the Grand Circle. Check out our price chart below, which details the type of view you can get for the price you pay.
Ticket Price Stalls Dress Circle Grand Circle
£84.50 (Premium Seats) Premium seats are located in Row F, seats 9-18. These seats offer the best view in the theatre, with clear, unobstructed sight-lines. From here, you are close enough to see all detail, but you still get a panoramic view.   Not available. Not available.
£69.50 The majority of the Stalls falls under this price, as sight-lines are clear throughout. Due to the intimacy of the theatre, you are able to see detail no matter where you are sat, and a steep rake ensures you can see past those in front. Legroom is very good throughout the Stalls. Please note that a pair of seats either end of rows C-F are restricted view, as you may miss some action at the far sides of the stage.   All of the Dress Circle falls under this price, aside from Standing spaces at the rear of the seating. There are no restrictions in this section, and a steep rake ensures you can see over those in front. Sit as centrally as possible, preferably further forward in rows A-D for the best experience.   Not available.
£59.50 Rows Q-S fall under this price, as the Dress Circle overhang is in view and because these seats are toward the rear of the theatre. The overhang should not hinder the view at all, therefore these seats are still a good option. Please note that the sound desk is situated in these rows, which some audience members may find distracting.   Not available. Not available.
£49.50 Not available. Boxes B and C fall under this price as they face the stage side on, therefore you may have to lean forward at times. You can still see detail from here, therefore these seats are a good option. Most of the Grand Circle falls under this price, in rows A-H, simply because it is further away from the stage. These are great bargain seats, as you can see the whole of the stage without any restriction. A decent rake ensures you can see past those in front. Sit as centrally as possible for the best experience. Please note that centre seats in rows A-B are restricted view due to a safety rail and technical equipment.
£29.50 Not available. Not available. Row J falls under this price as it is the rear row of the theatre, therefore can feel distant and it may be difficult to see detail. This row is restricted view due to the ceiling of the theatre obstructing the view.
£20.00 Not available. Standing spaces at the rear of the Dress Circle are this price. They are restricted view due to the overhang of the Grand Circle and should only be selected if on a strict budget.   These are Standing spaces at the rear of the Grand Circle and are restricted view due to the ceiling of theatre.
