Experience the thrills of the Kit Kat Club with Cabaret musical tickets

Willkommen! Enter the Kit Kat Club for an evening of excess, glamour and darkness in the stunning Cabaret musical at the Playhouse Theatre. This Olivier Award-winning revival of Kander & Ebb’s classic Broadway show is an immersive treat from start to end, and you will be captivated as soon as you step inside. Since opening in 2021, Cabaret has secured its status as the most alluring, must-see musical in the West End and you are welcomed by the Emcee to sit back, relax, and discover the sights and sounds for yourself.

The Playhouse Theatre is magnificently transformed into the famous Kit Kat Club and takes theatregoers into the heart of underground Berlin. The familiar streets of London fade away and you are immediately surrounded by glamour and excess in the lobby before the show has even begun. This is Berlin at the height of the 1930s: outside, the city’s freedoms are being challenged by the rising power of the Nazi Party, but once the doors are closed this is one place where everyone is free to be themselves.

Centered around the relationship between American writer Clifford Bradshaw and English cabaret singer Sally Bowles, the Cabaret musical is a powerful exploration of inter-war society in Germany’s famous capital city, when hedonism clashed with the rapidly changing world. The revelry at the Kit Kat Club is overseen by the enigmatic Emcee, who makes sure the drinks keep flowing and everyone can lose themselves to song and dance.

Kander & Ebb’s (Chicago) musical is one of the most successful of all time, with a score that is instantly recognisable and beloved in musical theatre. The show swings between hope and pain in “Maybe This Time”, flirtatious and carefree hedonism in “Don’t Tell Mama”, and other standouts including “Willkommen”, “Money” and of course the unforgettable title track “Cabaret”. The film, starring Liza Minnelli, made the story famous across the world but this is one musical theatre score you have to hear live for its full power.

This new production of the Cabaret musical is directed by Olivier Award winner Rebecca Frecknall (Summer & Smoke), with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, lighting by Isabella Byrd and sound design by Nick Lidster. It premiered in 2021 starring Eddie Redmayne as the Emcee and Jessie Buckley as Sally Bowles, and went on to win a staggering seven Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival, Best Director, Best Actor in a Musical and Best Actress in a Musical. Critics raved about it, calling it a “stunning, breathlessly exciting theatrical happening” (Evening Standard) and it sold out weeks in advance as audiences clamoured to experience a classic show in an “astonishingly contemporary” and immersive new form.

The cast of the Cabaret musical at the Kit Kat Club regularly rotates with new famous faces in the major roles. It is currently led, until 1 June, by Cara Delevingne as Sally Bowles and Olivier Award-winner Luke Treadaway (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time) as the Emcee, with Nic Myers appearing at certain performances as Sally Bowles.

The cast also features Nathan Ives-Moiba as Cliff Bradshaw, Beverley Klein as Fraulein Schneider, Teddy Kempner as Herr Schultz, Wilf Scolding as Ernst Ludwig and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost.

Promising an intimate and exhilarating production of this classic musical with an all-star cast, Cabaret musical tickets are some of the hottest in London right now. Don’t miss your chance to say “willkommen, bienvenue, welcome” and experience the thrills and visual spectacle of this landmark production.
