Get swept away to the Arendelle with Frozen the Musical tickets

Step into the icy kingdom of Arendelle for a magical adventure: Frozen the Musical is the spellbinding family musical that will captivate you no matter your age. After the worldwide success of the 2013 film Frozen, Disney Theatrical Productions have adapted it into an astonishing musical, following in the footsteps of The Lion King, Aladdin and Mary Poppins. The show has been showered with praise and has left a trail of awe-inspired theatregoers in its wake all the way from Broadway to its current home at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The breathtaking stage show follows the same plot as the film; audiences are transported to Arendelle and meet two royal sisters who have recently lost their parents: Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. When Elsa unleashes her icy powers and leaves Arendelle in a state of eternal winter, she flees. Anna is determined to make things right, and along the way, she teams up with an ice harvester, reindeer, and adorable snowman to find her sister and bring back summer. Frozen explores the concept of ‘true love’ and the bond between two sisters, making it a true Disney musical for our time.

Frozen the Musical features several of the much-loved songs from the film including “For the First Time in Forever”, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” and “Love is an Open Door”, as well as some brand-new numbers penned by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who also wrote the songs for the film. The spectacle is brought together on stage by director Michael Grandage, with choreography by Rob Ashford, set design and costumes by Christopher Oram and special effects by Jeremy Chernick. Together, this acclaimed creative team lights up the auditorium with theatrical magic and renders the adventure alive right before your eyes.

Children who have watched the film again and again at home will be delighted as they witness Elsa’s powers bloom across the stage, and the whole family will be stunned by a show-stopping performance of “Let It Go”. This show proves that the inspiring magic of theatre is alive and well, and after opening in London it was nominated for four Olivier Awards including Best New Musical and Best Actress in a Musical.

The current cast of Frozen the Musical includes Jenna Lee-James as Queen Elsa. Lee-James has also appeared in Cats, Mamma Mia!, We Will Rock You and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The cast also includes Laura Dawkes as Anna, Craig Gallivan as Olaf, Jammy Kasongo as Kristoff, Oliver Ormson as Hans, Richard Frame as the Duke of Weselton, and Ashley Birchall & Mikayla Jade as Sven.

From 7 February 2024, Samantha Barks will return to the role of Elsa. Barks’ credits include Les Miserables and Pretty Woman: The Musical.

Gorgeous set design, a soaring score and a story of family and sisterhood to melt your heart makes Frozen the Musical the perfect treat for all ages. Bring your children or revisit your inner child with tickets to this enchanting show as soon as possible.
