Buy Magic Goes Wrong tickets to conjure up a riotous evening of magic and mishaps

Mischief is still being made across the West End as the award-winning team behind the smash-hit ‘Goes Wrong’ series is bringing its latest show Magic Goes Wrong to the Apollo Theatre later this year.

Premiering at the Vaudeville Theatre in 2019, Magic Goes Wrong sees a troupe of struggling magicians attempt to put on a charity magic show. Things soon start to spiral out of control as the magic tricks don’t quite go according to plan and the fundraising target begins to look ambitious.

Created with world-renowned magicians Penn & Teller, Magic Goes Wrong promises some genuinely awe-inspiring magic, alongside Mischief Theatre’s trademark mishaps.

Penn & Teller’s unique brand of magic and comedy has taken the world by storm for the past 40 years. They have performed all over the world, including taking on one of the longest Las Vegas residencies of all time, and performing on countless TV specials.

Mischief Theatre has rocketed to stardom on both stage and screen since making their West End debut in 2014 with the award-winning The Play That Goes Wrong. Since then, the company has created several other West End hits, including The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, Groan Ups and Peter Pan Goes Wrong. In 2019, the BBC aired the first season of The Goes Wrong Show, which has recently been commissioned for a second series.

The Vaudeville Theatre cast included many members of the original Mischief Theatre line-up: Henry Lewis (Mind Mangler), Johnathan Sayer (Mickey), Henry Shields (Sophisticato), Dave Hearn (The Blade), Charlie Russell, Nancy Zamit (Bear), and Bryony Corrigan (Spitzumas).

This is one illusion that definitely hasn’t gone wrong – Magic Goes Wrong reappears in the West End at the Apollo Theatre from 21st October 2021.
