The spectacular, Olivier Award-winning stage adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film Moulin Rouge is dazzling West End audiences at the Piccadilly Theatre. The Moulin Rouge musical is a modern classic story of love, beauty, freedom and tragedy, and as bombastic as ever on stage. Soon, Satine is forced to choose between her career and true love, but tragedy and heartache are never far away…

Moulin Rouge! The Musical celebrates some of the greatest popular music of the last half a century, with the show featuring many favourites from the original film as well as new additions that have topped the charts since the movie was released in 2001. Whether you have seen the film before or not, you won’t be able to resist the exhilarating remixes of Elton John, Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones, Fatboy Slim, Lorde, Rick Astley and many, many more. The standout moment alone makes Moulin Rouge musical tickets worth the entry price, as “Elephant Love Medley” gets a jaw-dropping update. In total, the musical rattles through 70 songs credited to 160 artists, and spanning over 160 years of music.

The Moulin Rouge musical is adapted from Baz Luhrmann’s film and dialled up to the max for theatre audiences, with a stunning set design that spills out into the auditorium and quite literally paints the town red! The show is so dazzling, it went on to win 10 Tony Awards out of a total of 14 nominations, including Best Set Design, and was the star of the ceremony following its 2019 Broadway premiere. It transferred to the West End in November 2021 to similar acclaim, with critics declaring it “wonderfully wild” (The Guardian), with “spectacle in spades” (Time Out).
