The film that has swept countless lovers of laughs and romance off their feet has been adapted for the stage in Pretty Woman: The Musical. From Valentines Day 2020, this modern classic is in residence at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Pretty Woman: The Musical tells the story of Vivian Ward, Hollywood sex worker who begins an unlikely relationship with slick businessman Edward Lewis after he hires her to escort him to several high-society events over the course of a week. Julia Roberts and Richard Gere starred in the 1990 film, which remains the highest-grossing romcom of all time.

Pretty Woman: The Musical ran on Broadway for over a year, delighting packed audiences. The music and lyrics are written by rock artist Bryan Adams with his frequent collaborator Jim Vallance. The feel-good pop ballads that fill the show are guaranteed crowd-pleasers.

Pretty Woman: The Musical is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Hairspray) and the book is written by the creators of the original film; director Gary Marshall and screenwriter J. F. Lawton.

Aimie Atkinson (Six, Aladdin) will star as Vivian, alongside Danny Mac (White Christmas, Amélie) as Edward. Also in the cast are Rachael Wooding (We Will Rock You, Jersey Boys) as Kit De Luca, Bob Harms(Come From Away, Showboat) as Happy Man/Mr Thompson, Neil McDermott (Eugenius, The Wind in the Willows) as Philip Stuckey, and Mark Holden (The Bodyguard) as James Morse.

Pretty Woman: The Musical is set to be something truly special, and opening on Valentine’s Day 2020, it will be the ultimate romantic date-night show!
