Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz's hit Broadway musical Be More Chill is coming to London, making its UK premiere at the Other Palace. The new cult-classic musical, based on the book by Ned Vizzini, will play from February 2020.

Be More Chill is just your (a)typical love story – a girl, a boy, and the supercomputer inside the boy’s head that wants to take over the world! Both relatable and otherworldly, Be More Chill is a must-see for fans of Little Shop of Horrors or Dear Evan Hansen.

The quirky show was a hit with theatre-goers when it played on Broadway from February to August this year, earning a Tony nomination for Joe Iconis's score along the way.

The leads roles of Jeremy and Michael will be played by Scott Folan (Mother of Him) and Blake Patrick Anderson (Closer to Heaven). They will be joined by two former Six queens, Renee Lamb and Millie O'Connell, as Jenna and Chloe.

Also joining the Be More Chill cast are Miracle Chance as Christine, Stewart Clarke as The Squip, Eloise Davies as Brooke, James Hameed as Rich, Miles Paloma as Jake, and Christopher Fry as Mr Heere/Mr Reyes. Further company members are to be announced.

The production is directed by Stephen Brackett, choreographed by Chase Brock and designed by Beowulf Boritt.

It's the new musical sensation about to invade your brain... Be More Chill plays at The Other Palace until 3rd May 2020.

Child Friendly?

Be More Chill is recommended for ages 12+. The musical has mature themes, mature language, haze and strobe lighting effects.
