Following a sold-out run at the Bush Theatre, Arinzé Kene's critically-acclaimed play Misty transfers to Trafalgar Studios for a strictly limited six weeks. Receiving praise from audiences and critics alike, the lyrical journey is a thrilling blend of gig, theatre and spoken word, and completely sold out its premiere at the West London venue.

Taking place in inner city London, Misty is a heartfelt and playful exploration of creative freedom, bringing to life the capital’s modern, contemporary and pulsating heart. Featuring several different styles of theatre, this almost revolutionary work features an original live score and plenty of visceral storytelling.

Arinzé Kene is a playwright and actor with credits including the recent Bob Dylan musical Girl From the North Country, as well as television credits such as Our Girl and The Pass, the latter of which he earned an Evening Standard British Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. Further casting includes the role of Little Girl, played by Mya Napoleon and Rene Powell.

Associate Director of the Bush Theatre Omar Elerian directs the production, with additional credits including One Cold Dark Night and Islands. Misty features design by Rajha Shakiry, lighting design by Jackie Shemesh, sound design by Elena Peña and video design by Daniel Denton, with music by Shiloh Coke and Adrian McLeod.

A story that demands to be seen, Misty is a piece of theatre that has been hailed as vital to see by London’s top critics. Bringing to life the glowing inner soul of the city, Misty plays at the West End’s Trafalgar Studios from 8 September to 20 October 2018, with an official opening on 14 September 2018.
