Using the music of acclaimed pop songwriter Max Martin, & Juliet sees Juliet getting over Romeo by running off to Paris with her Nurse and best friends on a whirlwind trip of romance and self-discovery!

& Juliet stars Miriam-Teak Lee in the title role, fresh from winning The Stage Debut Award for Best Actress in a Musical (On the Town). Lee was also part of the original London cast of Hamilton.

Further casting includes Cassidy Janson and Oliver Tompsett as Mr and Mrs Shakespeare, Melinda Parris as Nurse, Tom Francis as Romeo, Nicolas Colicos as Lance, Joe Foster as May and Billy Nevers as Francois.

The ensemble includes Ebony Clarke, Ivan de Freitas, Rhian Duncan, Bessy Ewa, Collette Guitart, Cassandra Lee, Nathan Louis-Fernand, Zara Macintosh, Carl Man, Christian Maynard, Rachel Moran, Owen Saward, Aaron Shales, Benjamin Terry, Alex Tranter, Sophie Usher, Rhys Wilkinson and Suki Wong.

And Juliet includes a plethora of pop’s most iconic songs, including ‘Baby One More Time’, ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’, and ‘Everybody’. Songs are written by five-time Grammy Award winner Max Martin, who has written songs for Katy Perry and Ariana Grande. New musical arrangements come from award-winning orchestrator Bill Sherman.

& Juliet’s creative team includes director Luke Sheppard (In the Heights), with a story by David West Read (Schitt’s Creek), choreography by Jennifer Weber, and set design by Soutra Gilmour.

Both timely and timeless, And Juliet the Musical is a tale of an independent woman writing her own story. A comic blast of fun and fabulous pop music, this show proves that when it comes to love, there’s life after Romeo.

& Juliet began performances in London on November 2nd 2019 at the Shaftesbury Theatre, with an official opening night of November 20th.
