Buy Bonnie and Clyde tickets to see this cult musical in its long-awaited West End premiere

Bonnie & Clyde, the cult musical based on the infamous outlaws, transfers to the Arts Theatre for a limited season this spring.

The musical charts how Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow went from young, naive lovers to the most notorious criminals and folk heroes of the Great Depression. From their first meeting, the duo are desperate to escape their banal existence and determined to chase their dreams of adventure and fame, but their reckless ambition quickly spirals out of control. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive, but as their fame grows, their inevitable end draws closer.

The production transfers following an acclaimed semi-staged concert performance at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, starring Broadway star Jeremy Jordan and Frances Mayli McCann. Casting for the Arts Theatre production incluces McCann who reprises her performance as Bonnie and Jordan Luke Gage (& Juliet) who plays Clyde.

Bonnie & Clyde features music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black and a book by Ivan Menchell. The musical premiered on Broadway in 2011 but only played 69 performances before closing prematurely. It has since gained a cult-like status amongst musical theatre fans and the highly-anticipated London concert performances sold out in less than 10 minutes.

Bonnie and Clyde’s story of adventure, love and crime captivated the entire American population in the 1930s, and this hotly-anticipated West End transfer is sure to capture the attention of everyone who sees it. Don’t miss Bonnie & Clyde at the Arts Theatre from 9th April 2022.
