Everyone’s favourite history gang is returning to the West End for the premiere of their latest show, Horrible Histories – Terrible Tudors for a summer season at the Garrick Theatre.

Prepare for a devilish tour from horrible Henry to the demise of evil Elizabeth in this brand new show that never shies away from the nastiest bits of history. Audiences will discover the fate of Henry’s six headless wives, endure a punch up with the Pope and even survive the bloody Spanish Armada.

Adapted from Terry Deary’s beloved Horrible Histories books that have sold over 25 million copies and been translated in more than 30 languages. The stage shows, which date back to 1999, are a regular fixture in London’s West End, including the hit Barmy Britain series, which premiered in 2012.

Horrible Histories – Terrible Tudors is directed by Neal Foster and produced by Birmingham Stage Company. The cast is yet to be announced.
