Buy Six musical tickets as the Queens continue their reign over the West End

Henry who? Six, the smash-hit musical sensation, is reigning supreme at its palace and forever home in the West End, the Vaudeville Theatre, following hugely successful seasons at the nearby Lyric Theatre and Arts Theatre.

This sassy, pop-inspired show is a homegrown phenomenon that has inspired a whole new generation of theatre fans. Join the beleaguered wives of Henry VIII as they share their marital woes and fight over who’s had it worse through the medium of sassy pop hits! This Olivier Award-winning musical is one of the most fun to watch in London, with an empowering message and catchy music that you’ll be singing all the way home.

Creative duo Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ electrifying 80-minute Six musical sees Henry VIII’s infamous wives turn history into herstory in an all-singing, all-dancing show celebrating female friendship and empowerment. Sick and tired of being reduced to a children’s rhyme, they all get together to discuss their famous ex-husband and decide to have a Pop Idol-style sing-off to decide which wife had the worst time. These queens are soon giving it their all as pop princesses… and they might end up sharing the crown!

With ballads and bops inspired by some of the biggest stars on the planet – Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Lily Allen and more – the Six musical has one of the catchiest scores in the West End. Cheer as Catherine of Aragon sings “No Way”, feel mischievous with “Don’t Lose Ur Head”, vibe to “Haus of Holbein” and feel emotional during the power ballad “Heart of Stone”. Whatever your music taste, there’s a queen and a song for you and it all ends with a fist-pumping remix that will get the whole crowd on their feet.

Since premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017, Six the Musical has reached stratospheric heights with productions opening in the West End, on Broadway and around the world. Its original West End premiere was nominated for five Olivier Awards, and after opening on Broadway in 2020, it won two Tony Awards: Best Original Score and Best Costume Design in a Musical. It also made history in New York, with co-creator Moss becoming the youngest-ever female director to have a show on Broadway.

Off stage, the studio cast album has been streamed over 100 million times, making it second only to Hamilton as the most-streamed musical theatre album in the world. It’s Queendom fandom listen to the songs and head to the theatre to watch it again and again, and critics think it is royally brilliant too, with London Theatre declaring it “a girl power hit”.

The current Six musical cast at the Vaudeville Theatre includes Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky as Catherine of Aragon, Baylie Carson as Anne Boleyn, Claudia Kariuki as Jane Seymour, Dionne Ward-Anderson as Anna of Cleves, Koko Basigara as Katherine Howard and Roxanne Couch as Catherine Parr.

The creative team is headed up by co-directors Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, choreographer Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, costume designer Gabriella Slade and set designer Emma Bailey

All the Tudor ladies are starting a party at the Vaudeville Theatre! Forget “divorced behead died”, this is “divorced, beheaded, live”, and you won’t want to miss the histo-remixed pop-concert musical that is taking the world by storm.
