The Windsors: Endgame
Royal scandal has never been more entertaining than with The Windsors Endgame tickets
Comedy legend Harry Enfield will make his West End debut in a brand new play, The Windsors: Endgame, based on the hit Channel 4 comedy series.
Enfield will be reprising his role as Prince Charles, along with several other cast members from the television series, when the play opens on 2nd August at the aptly named Prince of Wales Theatre.
The play, which satirises some of the biggest royal scandals, focuses on Wills campaign to steal the crown from his father. In order to succeed he needs the help of Harry and Meghan, but how will he lure them away from their rescue chickens and breezy California life? Meanwhile, Beatrice and Eugenie are busy trying to come up with a plan to clear Prince Andrew’s name.
The Windsors: Endgame is written by the same creators as the TV series, George Jeffrie and Bert Tyler-Moore and will be directed by Michael Fentiman, who also directed the recent West End transfer of Amelie.
Harry Enfield is one of Britain’s best-known comedians and has been a regular fixture on television for the past 30 years. His most successful TV appearances include Harry Enfield & Chums, Men Behaving Badly, Skins and Bad Education. He has played Prince Charles in The Windsors since its premiere.
The Windsors premiered on Channel 4 in 2016 and has run for three seasons and two specials, including a Royal Wedding special in 2017. The latest season parodied the much-rumoured feud between Prince William and Harry.
With a promise of songs, sword fights and snogging competitions, The Windsors: Endgame is a royal soap opera you won’t want to miss. Catch it at the Prince of Wales Theatre from 2nd August to 9th October.
