Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler’s best-selling book The Smartest Giant in Town is being brought to life for a musical, puppet-filled adventure this winter at the St Martin’s Theatre.
George is tired of his scruffy appearance and decides it’s time for a new look. He heads to the new shop that specialises in giant-sized clothes and buys a whole new outfit – smart shirt and trousers, a shiny pair of shoes and a colourful, stripy tie. His newfound confidence as the smartest giant in town is put to the test when he bumps into some animals desperate for his help… and his clothes!
The Smartest Giant in Town is created by Little Angel Theatre and follows their acclaimed productions of Donaldson’s picture books The Singing Mermaid and The Everywhere Bear.
The production will star James Keningale, Ashton Owen and Heidi Goldsmith and feature spellbinding puppetry, storytelling and musical performances to dazzle kids of all ages.
