Buy My Fair Lady tickets to see the first major revival of this much-loved musical in over 20 years

A lavish new production of Lerner & Loewe’s beloved musical My Fair Lady transfers from Broadway for a 16-week engagement at the London Coliseum.

The musical follows Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney girl, who meets Colonel Pickering and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor, in Covent Garden where she’s selling flowers. Higgins makes a bet with Pickering that he can transform Eliza into a lady and raise her social status. But who is really being transformed?

The production from Lincoln Center Theater marks the first major West End revival of My Fair Lady since the three-time Olivier Award-winning National Theatre production, starring Martine McCutcheon and Jonathan Pryce. Casting for the London Coliseum production is to be announced.

My Fair Lady, based on George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion, features a score brimming with timeless songs including “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face”, “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly”, and the glorious “I Could Have Danced All Night”. The musical was adapted into an eight-time Oscar-winning film starring Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison in 1964.

Directed by Bartlett Sher (The King & I, To Kill a Mockingbird), this award-winning production premiered at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in New York City in 2018 and starred Lauren Ambrose, Harry Hadden-Paton and Dame Diana Rigg.

Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe are one of the greatest songwriting duos in the history of musical theatre and their classic musicals, including Camelot, Paint Your Wagon and Gigi, helped to define the golden era of Broadway.

This ravishing revival of one of the most-loved musicals of all-time looks set to be one of the stand-out productions. of the 2022 West End calendar. Don’t miss it at the London Coliseum from 7th May 2022.
