A crumbling castle, a dark presence lurking inside, and a reign of terror about to be unleashed… Bram Stoker’s chilling masterpiece about a vampire who wants to conquer the world has been adapted and reimagined countless times – but never like this. Get ready to experience a seductive theatrical experience that will send a shiver down your spine. First staged by Sydney Theatre Company in 2024, it’s conceived and directed by Kip Williams, who collaborated with Sarah Snook on Olivier Award winner The Picture of Dorian Gray last year.
Williams is a Tony Award nominee whose genre-defying approach to live performance has redefined how we experience classic texts. Combining live acting with cameras and recorded performance, he goes further than ever with the heart-stopping Dracula play.
Cynthia Erivo adds another spectacular performance to her CV as the sole cast member of Dracula. Best known for the Wicked films, she has also appeared in Harriet, Genius: Aretha and The Colour Purple, and has won Tony, Emmy and Grammy awards. It’s been ten years since she appeared in a full-scale London theatre production, and her most recent stage credit was for Jesus Christ Superstar at Hollywood Bowl last year.
The Count has awakened, and he’s set his sights on a new victim… don’t miss your opportunity to see this landmark show, playing in London for a strictly limited season.
