Sovrenennik Theatre’s season at the Piccadilly Theatre closes with Chekhov, don’t miss Three Sisters tickets

Sovremennik Theatre bring their Drama Desk Award-winning production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters to the Piccadilly Theatre, as part of their limited West End season. A triple bill featuring three of the Russian theatre company’s most celebrated productions, Three Sisters is the grand finale, opening at the London venue on May 11th 2017.

Three Sisters is one of Chekhov’s most performed plays, following Olga, Masha and Irina as they search for meaning in a modern world. Yearning for a life in bustling Moscow, away from their provincial home, the three girls feel as though something is missing. As family, guests and lovers visit their home, events unfold that will change the course of their lives forever.

Widely regarded as one of the seminal versions of Three Sisters, Sovremennik Theatre present the classic tale once more, after enthralling audiences across the world. Directed by the company’s co-founder Galina Volchek, the three productions are to feature a cast and crew of over 100 people.

Three Sisters opens at the Piccadilly Theatre on May 11th and plays limited performances until May 13th 2017. Please note that the play will be performed in Russian with English subtitles.
