For a musical experience as bold and bright as Dolly Parton herself, look no further than 9 to 5 tickets

Tumble outta bed and stumble to the Savoy Theatre, where 9 to 5 the Musical is due for a strictly limited run. Based on the cult 1980s film, this big-hearted comedy musical features an original score by country icon Dolly Parton and is presented by the great woman herself. Listen as her best-loved hits provide a soundtrack to the story of three workmates who have had enough of their sexist supervisor and hatch a plan to stick it to The Man.

Dolly Parton is a bona fide country and pop legend. Hailing from Tennessee, she has recorded well over 40 albums, starred in many successful movies and garnered countless prestigious awards. Songs such as “Jolene”, “I Will Always Love You” and, of course, “9 to 5” are well-known across the globe. She has penned a stunning original score for 9 to 5 the Musical and has earned nominations for an Oscar, Grammy and Tony Award for her troubles.

The show, which was originally produced on Broadway by Robert Greenblatt in 2009, boasts a book by Patricia Resnick and is directed by Jeff Calhoun.

Louise Redknapp, Chelsea Halfpenny, Bonnie Langford and Natalie McQueen star alongside Brian Conley. Redknapp rose to fame in the girl band Eternal and has since gone on to solo artist and TV personality. Halfpenny is best known for her roles as Amy Wyatt in Emmerdale and Alicia Munroe in Casualty. McQueen is very much at home in musical theatre, having starred as Lauren in Kinky Boots (Adelphi Theatre) and Young Éponine in Les Misérables (Palace Theatre).

Langford’s wide-spanning and successful career most recently encapsulates a starring role in 42nd Street and in EastEnders. Conley is best known as host of The Brian Conley Show and for presenting the Royal Variety Performance on multiple occasions. His musical theatre credits include leads in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (London Palladium) and Barnum (UK Tour).

Jenny Legg will play the role of Violet from 12th March to 28th March, while Louise Redknapp is on a UK solo tour. From 6th April, Georgina Castle will replace Natalie McQueen as Doralee, and Laura Tyrer will replace Bonnie Langford as Roz.

9 to 5 the Musical promises to be as colourful, bold and lovable as Dolly herself. Catch it as the Savoy Theatre during its limited season.
