Book Plaza Suite play tickets for a classic comedy – starring Sarah Jessica Parker!
Two-time Emmy Award winner Sarah Jessica Parker makes her West End debut opposite husband Matthew Broderick in a hit revival of Neil Simon’s sensational comedy Plaza Suite – and it is one of the London theatre events of the year! This uproarious production took Broadway by storm and brings razor-sharp wit to the Savoy Theatre in a production you do not want to miss.
Pulitzer winner Neil Simon’s (The Odd Couple) Plaza Suite play is a riotously witty exploration of love and marriage, set inside one hotel room. Long-time couple Karen and Sam are trying to save their rocky marriage, high school sweethearts Muriel and Jesse are reuniting for a romantic affair, and Norma and Roy are trying to coax their daughter – the blushing bride – out of the bathroom.
With every character played by Parker and Broderick in this two-hander extravaganza, the Plaza Suite play in London is a laugh-out-loud and equally poignant night of theatre set in the four walls of a legendary hotel room… where each couple finds themselves in increasingly outlandish and unexpected territory.
Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey’s production first opened in New York in 2022, with critics raving about the “real-life sparks” Parker and Broderick brought to this trio of piercing stories. The two acting giants now appear for the first time together in London, and Parker – best known for her star-making turns in Sex and the City – is making her West End debut. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star Broderick was last in London with The Starry Messenger in 2019.
The Plaza Suite play creative team includes Tony Award-winning set designer John Lee Beatty, Tony Award-winning costume designer Jane Greenwood, and Tony Award-winning lighting designer Brian MacDevitt.
Check in to one of the biggest shows in London in 2024 with tickets to the Plaza Suite play! With a starry cast and timeless comedy, it is playing for a strictly limited season.
