The Full Monty tickets are perfect for a naughty night out as this classic film bares all on stage

Following a whirlwind sell out tour of the UK, The Full Monty arrives to bare all at the Noel Coward Theatre from February 2014.

The stage production is adapted from the 1997 Oscar and BAFTA award winning film of the same name. Screenplay writer Simon Beaufoy has gone back to his Sheffield roots to revamp the classic story for the stage.

The story of The Full Monty is based on six unemployed men on the dole who want nothing more than to make good for their families. Reflective of the grim work prospects in Sheffield in the 90’s, the majority of the jobless gents are laid off former steelworkers, including principal character Gaz. Struggling with child support payments and a sinking sense of paternal guilt, Gaz hatches a plan to earn money in a Chippendale style show and goes about finding himself a group of unlikely male strippers. Hilarity ensues as Gaz secures his recruits including former work mates Lomper, Gaz, Dave and Gerald as well as the well endowed Guy and older gentlemen Horse.  Together the six men face issues such as self esteem, depression and sexuality whilst attempting to defy all odds in creating a successful show.

The stage show is directed by Daniel Evans and produced by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers and will star Sidney Cole, Kenny Doughty, Roger Morlidge, Kieran O’Brian, Craig Grazey and Simon Rouse.

The Fully Monty will feature songs from the Oscar Award Winning film soundtrack including Tom Jones’ “You Can Leave Your Hat On,” Donna Summer’s “Hot Stuff” and of course Hot Chocolate’s “You Sexy Thing” which will ensure a lively atmosphere throughout the show.
