Shifters
Laugh and cry with Shifters play tickets
Following a sold-out run at the Bush Theatre earlier this year, the new, intoxicating play that explores lost memories and young love, Shifters, makes its West End debut this Summer. Heading to the Duke of York’s theatre, audiences are in for the most-loved rom-com elements brought to life on stage in this beautiful and intoxicating play. Tickets for the production are set to be popular, so we recommend grabbing them early to avoid disappointment.
The Shifters play is about two young and gifted lovers, Dre and Des, who shared many of their teen years together before parting ways with each other when Des decides to uproot. Years later, they both come crashing back into each other’s lives, with new secrets and old scars. Their memories collide with the present time, where they question if fate has brought them back together for a reason.
The cast is small but mighty, consisting of Tosin Cole (Doctor Who) and Heather Agyepong (The Power, School Girls) as young lovers, Dre and Des.
Winner of the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for Playwriting, Benedict Lombe (Lava) wrote the play, with the production directed by Lynette Linton (August in England, Clyde’s) and further creatives to be announced shortly.
Theatregoers and rom-com fans won’t want to miss Shifters, the tear-jerking yet heartwarming play, running for a strictly limited time only at the Duke of York’s Theatre. Tickets are set to sell fast, so secure yours now!
