• Air Conditioning: The Gielgud Theatre has an air cooling system.
  • Food & Drink: Snacks and drinks in plastic containers are allowed in the auditorium, however hot food is prohibited. The Gielgud theatre has a no glass policy within the auditorium so all drinks purchased at the bar that are not already in plastic must be transferred into plastic cups.


There is a limited cloakroom available in which large bags and pushchairs can be checked. Each item checked is charged at £1


The Gielgud Theatre does offer a limited supply of booster seats for small children. Usually children will need to be under 4ft to be given a cushion.


The Gielgud Theatre has 3 licensed bars.


The Gielgud Theatre has various merchandise outlets across the building that also sell confectionery and ice cream.


The Gielgud Theatre has toilets on all seating levels. There is an access adapted toilet in the foyer near the bar.
