Catch The Crown breakout star Emma Corrin in her West End debut with Anna X tickets
After drawing huge acclaim for her role as Princess Diana in Netflix’s The Crown, Golden Globe-winning actress Emma Corrin will make her West End debut this summer. The actress will star in Joseph Charlton’s award-winning play Anna X.
The play is based on the crimes of Anna Sorokin, who adopted the scandalous New York socialite identity; Anna Delvey. Russian-born Sorokin created the fake identity of Delvey in 2013 and successfully infiltrated some of New York City’s most affluent and influential social circles. In 2019, she was convicted on multiple counts of grand larceny, theft and fraud from several New York hotels and wealthy connections. Anna X explores the price we’re prepared to pay for social status.
Anna X is directed by Daniel Raggett and is the final play in Sonia Friedman and Ian Rickson’s RE:EMERGE season at the Harold Pinter Theatre. Emma Corrin, who won a Golden Globe for her performance in The Crown, will be joined by Nabhaan Rizwan.
Anna X is a searing exploration of narcissism, identity and morality. Catch it at the Harold Pinter Theatre from July.
