Tommy Steele fans shouldn’t miss The Glenn Miller Show tickets for a rare chance to see the superstar on stage

Entertainment superstar Tommy Steele returns to the London Coliseum 60 years after making his theatrical debut in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Playing a strictly limited season at the West End venue, The Glenn Miller Story pays tribute to one of the best-selling recording artists of the big band genre, featuring Tommy Steele as the legendary singer.

Documenting the turbulent journey of the famous big band leader, The Glenn Miller Story follows Glenn Miller as he discovers his unique sound, which rocketed him to worldwide fame before an untimely death. With tunes including “In the Mood”, “Moonlight Serenade”, “Little Brown Jug”, “Pennsylvania 6-5000”, “Tuxedo Junction” and “Chattanooga Choo Choo”, amongst many others, this production defines an era beloved by all.

Tommy Steele is the well-known entertainer renowned for his stage and screen appearances, as well as hit singles including his 1957 number one “Singing the Blues”. His career has spanned over twelve musical movies, such as Half a Sixpence and Singin’ in the Rain, and his theatre credits include starring in two smash-hit runs of Scrooge at the London Palladium.

Further casting includes Marti Webb, alongside Autumn Draper, Charlie Tighe, Devon McKenzie-Smith, Howard Samuels, Holly Rostron, Jessica Ellen, Jordan Oliver, Linal Haft, Myles Brown, Oliver Ramsdale, Siobhan Diffin, Tim Maxwell-Clarke and Tom Sowinski.

The Glenn Miller Story is directed by Bob Tomson and Bill Kenwright, who also produces the show, and features design by Mark Bailey and choreography by Olivier Award-winner Bill Deamer, whose credits include Top Hat, Cats and Evita.

Playing a strictly limited 7-week season at the West End’s London Coliseum, The Glenn Miller Story is a celebration of one of the world’s leading big band artists, featuring a legend of stage and screen in the starring role. The production runs at the London venue from July 6th to August 18th 2018.
