See Dawn French and an all-star cast at the London Palladium panto with Snow White tickets

Actress and comedian Dawn French makes her pantomime debut in the London Palladium’s latest star-studded festive show. Following on from the huge success of Cinderella, and the Olivier Award-winning Dick Whittington, the same team present fairytale favourite Snow White, running at the West End venue for a strictly limited holiday season.

Based on the original story by the Brothers Grimm, Snow White is the well-known tale of a young princess whose wicked stepmother casts her out when she learns that she is the more beautiful of the two. Spared her life by the huntsman sent to kill her, Snow White finds refuge in a cottage in the forest, inhabited by dwarves, but is soon discovered by the wicked queen, who does all she can to get rid of her…

Snow White is best-known for the 1937 animated Disney film of the same name, which features toe-tapping tunes including “Whistle While You Work” and the romantic “Someday My Prince Will Come” and is often adapted into pantomimes that feature up-to-date songs and musical favourites.

Dawn French (The Vicar of Dibley, French and Saunders) makes her debut as The Wicked Queen, alongside the returning Julian Clary as The Man in the Mirror, Nigel Havers as The Understudy, Paul Zerdin as Muddles and Gary Wilmot as Mrs Crumble. Danielle Hope (The Wizard of Oz) plays the role of Snow White and her Prince Charming is Charlie Stemp (Half a Sixpence). Further casting includes dancers Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace-Mistry as The King and Queen, as well as Josh Bennett, Simeon Dyer, Craig Garner, Ben Goffe, Jamie John, Blake Lisle and Andrew Martin as The Magnificent Seven.

Michael Harrison directs the show, which features set design by Ian Westbrook, costume design by Hugh Durrant, lighting design by Ben Cracknell and visual special effects by The Twins FX, with original music from Gary Hind.

Set to be yet another spectacular treat at the London Palladium, the glitzy pantomime promises to be even more dazzling than the previous shows. Playing a strictly limited festive season, Snow White runs from December 8th 2018 to January 13th 2019, with an official opening on December 12th 2018.
