Buy Operation Ouch tickets to see TV’s favourite doctors back in the West End with a brand new show

BAFTA-winning TV doctor duo, Dr Chris and Dr Xand are making a long-overdue return to the West End with a brand new show, Operation Ouch! Not for the Squeamish opening at the Lyric Theatre this December.

Operation Ouch! Not for the Squeamish will be packed full of brand new experiments and crammed with astonishing facts as the doctors take audiences on a journey through the fascinating world of biology and the human body. The docs will also share some of their highlights from the award-winning TV show of the same name and will be joined by Dr Ronx via video link.

Identical twins Dr Chris and Dr Xand van Tulleken grew up in London and trained in medicine at Oxford University. Alongside regular appearances on TV, they both continue to practice medicine: Dr Chris at University College London Hospital and Dr Xand is the Helen Hamlyn Senior Fellow at Fordham University’s Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs.

During 2020, the duo appeared on several documentaries surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, including a BBC One documentary Surviving the Virus: My Brother and Me, HealthCheck UK and several Channel 4 documentaries, including When Will Lockdown End? and How to Avoid a Second Wave.

The stage show is adapted from their hugely popular children’s TV show, Operation Ouch!, which ran for over eight series and was the recipient of two BAFTAs in the Children’s Factual category. Operation Ouch! made its West End debut at the Apollo Theatre in 2018.

Operation Ouch! Not for the Squeamish will have audiences of all ages squirming in their seats at the delights and horrors of the human body. Don’t miss it at the Lyric Theatre from 4th December.
