Based on the beloved MGM film, Jonathan Church’s critically acclaimed production of Singin’ in the Rain comes to Sadler’s Wells for a limited run next summer. Adam Cooper stars as Don Lockwood, the iconic role made famous by Gene Kelly.

Having been smash-hit at Chichester Festival Theatre and in the West End, this charming show returns to London in 2021, and is sure to make a splash!

Andrew Wright’s energetic choreography and Simon Higlett’s beautiful set design (including over 14,000 litres of water on stage every night!) combine with the charm and romance of one of the world’s best-loved films to create a truly unforgettable production.

A former principle of the Royal Ballet, Adam Cooper reprises the role he played in both the Chichester Festival Theatre and 2011 West End productions. Cooper is perhaps best known for having originated the role of Swan/Stranger in Matthew Bourne’s contemporary dance production of the ballet Swan Lake, a role he briefly reprised as the adult Billy Elliot in the 2001 film of the same name.

Featuring the original glorious MGM score including Good Morning, Make ‘em Laugh, and the legendary Singin’ in the Rain, this show is one you won’t want to save for a rainy day!
