Based on Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved children’s book, Room on the Broom follows the witch and her cat on a fun-filled journey to defeat a hungry dragon. Flying around on her broom, the pair pick up a group of unlikely hitchhikers including a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a frantic frog. But just as the dragon arrives… CRACK, the witch’s broomstick snaps because it’s not built to hold five passengers. Will there be room on the broom for everyone?

Tall Stories have been creating acclaimed children’s theatre shows since 1997, including adaptations of The Gruffalo, The Owl and the Pussycat, and The Snail and the Whale. Room on the Broom first premiered in 2009 and was nominated for an Olivier Award. It was last seen in the West End at the Lyric Theatre in 2018.
