Favourite of children and parents alike, Peppa Pig returns to the stage this December. Peppa Pig’s Adventure sees the audacious star joined by her little brother George and her school friends as she embarks on a camping trip to the woods. This bold, bright show at Theatre Royal Haymarket brings the beloved TV characters to life with interactive fun and makes for a joyous family theatre trip.

Join Peppa, Pedro Pony, Suzy Sheep and Gerald Giraffe as they board the bus (expertly driven by Daddy Pig) and head off for an outdoor exploration. Their lunch boxes are packed and there are games and laughter to be had as well as live music to listen to. When darkness falls they get tucked up into their tents and listen to the soothing sound of the rain.

Peppa Pig is the immensely popular British children’s television series broadcast around the world. The franchise includes a line of personalised books and the Peppa Pig World theme park in Hampshire, with two new theme parks due to open in China. Peppa Pig’s Adventure is the fifth stage production and enters the ninth consecutive year of live theatre tours.

Direction comes courtesy of Richard Lewis. He is founder and Managing Director of The Limelight Group and has written and directed the previous four Peppa Pig shows as well as the Octonauts, LazyTown and Ben and Holly live shows.

Expect music from Mani Svavarsson, the BAFTA award-winning composer whose credits include LazyTown, Áfram Latibær and LazyTown Extra.

Even more delightful and colourful than the television programme, Peppa Pig’s Adventure promises a fun-packed evening of theatrical cheer. Little ones will relish seeing Peppa in the flesh and the interactive games and live music will serve as a fabulous introduction to the possibilities of live theatre. Catch the show during its strictly limited run between December 2018 and January 2019.
