The Tiger Who Came To Tea
Roarsome fun with The Tiger Who Came to Tea play tickets
Knock, knock – who’s there? It’s The Tiger Who Came To Tea play, back in the West End for another summer season! Based on Judith Kerr’s beloved picture book, this charming and mischievous show is a family favourite at Theatre Royal Haymarket.
Sophie and her mum are sitting down for tea when suddenly… there’s a knock at the door! Who could it be? When they open the door, a large, stripy tiger bursts in, and he’s hungry. As another place is set at the table for their unlikely guest, he gobbles up much more than they expected. Will there be any food left once he’s full?!
This upbeat stage version of Judith Kerr’s picture book premiered over 15 years ago and has become one of the most popular West End shows to take young children to for their very first theatre trip. It was nominated for an Olivier Award and has won the biggest prize of them all: capturing children’s imaginations with vibrant, fun storytelling and interactive sing-along moments.
The Tiger Who Came To Tea play is adapted and directed by David Wood OBE, who is well-known for working theatrical magic on popular children’s stories. His credits include Roald Dahl’s The Witches, Babe the Sheep Pig and Meg and Mog. The Tiger Who Came To Tea also has choreography by Emma Clayton and design by Susie Caulcutt.
This purrr-fect show will keep the whole family entertained when it returns to London over summer 2025! RSVP for an afternoon at the most fun-filled tea party you could possibly imagine, and book your tickets today.
