Air Conditioning: The Criterion Theatre is air-conditioned.
Food & Drink: Snacks and drinks in plastic containers are allowed in the auditorium, however hot food is prohibited. Drinks purchased from the bar must be transferred into plastic cups if they are being taken inside the auditorium.
Binoculars: There are no binoculars in the theatre as it is a relatively small and intimate space. Even from the Upper Circle you will be able to see the stage. None the less audience members are welcome to bring their own binocular if they feel it is necessary.
There is a cloakroom with a charge of £1 per item. There is limited space so large bags cannot be accepted.
There are two bars, the Stalls Bar and the Greene Bar (Dress Circle). These bars are only accessible via stairs but drinks can be taken into the auditorium to patrons in wheel chairs.
Male and female toilets are located between the Stalls and Dress Circle levels and there is one access adapted toilet in the Upper Circle.
