Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow are two of America’s most notorious, fascinating and controversially beloved figures. Starting out in a small town, the duo became imfamous for bank robberies and hold-ups, leaving trails of terror, unease and awe in their wake. Their passionate romance and grisly end has captured the imaginations of thousands. In this alluring and explosive musical audiences can discover the exhilarating duo on stage.
Bonnie & Clyde first premiered in San Diego in 2009, before transferring to Broadway in 2011 for a short, two month run. Its blues and rockabilly-infused songs, including “Raise a Little Hell”, “How ‘Bout a Dance?” and “You Love Who You Love” have kept theatre fans hoping for more stagings of the musical, and in 2022 they were rewarded with a West End premiere at the Arts Theatre, starring Frances Mayli McCann and Jordan Luke Gage.
The musical has a book by Emmy Award nominee Ivan Menchell (Blended; The Nanny), music by Tony nominee Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde) and lyrics by Tony and Academy Award winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard). In London, it is directed by Nick Winston.
