What do you get if you cross two RuPaul’s Drag Race superstars and a hilarious murder mystery romp? Death Drop, a brand new comedy sashaying its way to the Garrick Theatre

Courtney Act and Monét X Change will lead a full cast of drag performers in Death Drop which opens for a socially-distanced run at London’s Garrick Theatre.

Playing out much like a lost Agatha Christie classic, Death Drop will take audiences back to 1991 where a dinner party on the infamous Tuck Island descends into chaos as the guests’ sordid past lives come to light and murderous shenanigans begin to take place. The tension soars to dizzying heights until the surviving guests finally find out who-dunnit.

Courtney Act, who will play 80s pop sensation Shazza, was a runner-up in the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and has become a familiar face on UK television since winning Big Brother UK in 2018. She is currently starring in ITV’s Celebrity Karaoke Club. Monét X Change, who will take on the role of glamorous American weather girl Summer Raines, was a firm fan favourite in season 10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, before going on to win the fourth season of Drag Race All Stars

Starring alongside Courtney Act and Monét X Change will be Kemah Bob, LoUis CYfer, Anna Phylactic, Holly Stars and Vinegar Strokes, who took part in the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and recently finished a stint playing Sandra Bollock in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in London’s West End.

Expect goop-worthy gags, scandalous reads, life-saving lip syncs and enough twists and turns to make the Queen of Crime proud. Don’t miss this killer comedy at London’s Garrick Theatre.
