Jodie Comer makes her West End debut in Prima Facie, a gripping one-woman thriller by Suzie Miller at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
Tessa is a brilliant, young barrister who loves to win. Suzie Miller was formerly a lawyer before turning to playwriting and screenwriting. Her gripping one-woman play was previously performed in Sydney in 2021 and won several major Australian theatre awards. The West End production will be directed by Justin Martin and marks the play’s UK premiere.
Jodie Comer is a BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning actress best known for her critically acclaimed performance in the hit TV series Killing Eve. She recently starred opposite Ryan Reynolds in the 2021 film Free Guy, as well as the historical drama The Last Duel.
Justin Martin is an award-winning director, best known for his work on the acclaimed production of The Jungle, which played sell-out seasons the West End and New York. Other credits include Last Chance: A Plea For the Unaccompanied Children of Calais at the Young Vic and a number of successful Australian theatre productions.
Prima Facie is part of a star-studded season of plays at the Harold Pinter Theatre, which also includes the return of James McAvoy in Cyrano de Bergerac and Emilia Clarke in Chekhov’s The Seagull.
