• Air Conditioning: The theatre has an 'air cooling' system in the auditorium.
  • Food & Drink: Snacks and drinks in plastic containers are allowed in the auditorium and hot food is prohibited. Drinks purchased from the bar must be transferred into plastic cups before being taken inside the auditorium.


There are cloakroom facilities in the theatre and items cost £1 to check in. Suitcases and pushchairs can be checked.


Booster Cushions are not provided by the venue, however patrons may bring their own.


The theatre has a total of four licensed bars, with a bar on each level and two in the Royal Circle. Prices:
  • Bottled water - £2.50
  • Soft drinks e.g. bottled coke - £3
  • 125ml glass of wine ranges between £6 and £9 depending on the wine.
  • 175ml glass of wine - £6.50 to £9.50
  • 250ml glass of wine - £7.50 to £10.50
  • 20cl glass of Prosecco - £8
  • Glass of Lanvin Champagne - £9.50
  • Bottle of Veuve Cliquot - £55
  • A spirit and mixer e.g a vodka and tonic is £6.10 or double up for £1.50.
  • Cocktails £8
  • Carlsberg 275ml bottle - £4.75
  • Carlsberg 500ml can - £5.75
  • Staroprammen 330ml bottle - £5.25
  • Tap water is available from the bar on request.
  • Tea and coffee is available for purchase from the bar.


There is a shop from which patrons can purchase merchandise, confectionery and ice creams. Prices:

The Lyceum has both male and female toilets on all levels (Stalls, Royal Circle, Upper Circle) as well as disabled toilet facilities located in the Stalls.
