The original film All About Eve starred Bette Davis in the role of Broadway star Margo Channing with Anne Baxter playing the part of young actress Eve Harrington. Director Ivo Van Hove is a multi-award winner and the Artistic Director of Toneelgroep Amsterdam. His credits include A View from the Bridge, Ring Cycle and Roman Tragedies.
Gillian Anderson is a multi-award winning actress and writer best known for her long-running role in the TV series The X-Files. Her stage credits span the UK and the U.S. and include A Doll’s House, The Vagina Monologues and A Streetcar Named Desire.

Anderson and James are joined by Monica Dolan (B*EASTS, Plaques & Tangles, King Lear), Stanley Townsend (The Weir, Happy Now?, The Nether), Sheila Reid (Othello, The Three Sisters, My Mother Said I Never Should), Rhashan Stone (Sweeney Todd, The Strange Death of John Doe, Our Town) and Julian Ovenden (The Treatment, My Night With Reg, Showboat). Further cast includes Ian Drysdale, Tsion Habte, Charles Hagerty, Grace Stone, Philip Voyzey, Merric Boyd, Fejiro Emasiobi, Jessie Mei Li, Chanelle Modi, Stuart Nunn, Phillipa Peak and Michael Warburton.

All About Eve will run from February to May 2019. A big-name jewel adapted from an enduring classic, All About Eve promises to be an engrossing and winsome night at the theatre.
