Discover a genius with Saving Mozart musical tickets
Genius, musical icon… who was Mozart, really? Step into the heart and mind of a musical legend as the new Saving Mozart musical makes its London debut at The Other Palace for a strictly limited season. This powerful show pulls back the curtain on the man behind the music, bringing a fresh and emotional perspective to the story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. With stirring new songs, vibrant choreography, and a story centred on the unsung voices that shaped his legacy, Saving Mozart is a bold retelling of one of history’s most recognisable figures.
At its core, Saving Mozart is a story of brilliance, ambition, and the people who helped him on his way to greatness. His sister Maria Anna, whose own talent helped spark Mozart’s creativity; his overbearing yet visionary father Leopold; and his devoted wife Constanze: this musical reframes Mozart’s life through the lens of those who fought for, taught, challenged and loved him. Set against the backdrop of 18th-century Europe, the show explores identity, sacrifice and the tension between genius and humanity.
Inspired by true events, the Saving Mozart musical premiered in early 2025 in Austria to critical acclaim before making its journey to the UK. With a book, music and lyrics by Charli Eglington (Treason, Love Can), the production is directed by Markus Olzinger (Mass, Jane Eyre), who also helmed the show’s original Austrian staging. Choreography comes from Taylor Walker (Bring It On, Strictly Come Dancing), with a visually rich design team featuring set designer Justin Williams, costume designer Julia Pschedezki, and Olivier Award nominated lighting designer Ben Jacobs.
Taking centre stage as Mozart is Jack Chambers (Stiletto), alongside Aimie Atkinson (Six, Pretty Woman) as Maria Anna, Douglas Hansell (Come From Away) as Leopold, Erin Caldwell (Heathers) as Constanze and Jordan Luke Gage (&Juliet) Mozart’s musical rival Salieri.
Raw, resonant and unforgettable, the Saving Mozart musical redefines a legend with heart, humanity and harmony. Don’t miss this extraordinary new musical at The Other Palace – book your tickets today.
