The Other Palace is the newly branded venue - formerly the St James Theatre. Located away from the main theatre hub of the West End, but near to the Apollo Victoria and Victoria Palace theatres, this intimate venue has excellent transport links. The Other Palace is close to Victoria station, which offers easy access to rail and bus services, as well as the underground.

Rail


London Victoria is the closest national rail station to The Other Palace, which is a mere five minute walk away from the venue. The easiest route from the station is to cross the road, turn right on to Victoria Street and turn left up Bressenden Place. Turn left on to Cathedral Walk and head straight through the shopping complex to the theatre. London Victoria is easy access for those travelling on Southern Rail and Southeastern services.

Tube


The closest tube is Victoria, which connects to the Victoria, Circle and District lines. The tube is connected to Victoria rail station.

Bus


Bus routes: 16, 38, 52, 73, 82, 42, 148 all pass close to the theatre.

Car


The Other Palace is within the London Congestion Charge Zone, which applies 7am-6pm and costs £11.50 per day. If you are driving to the theatre after 6pm then you will not be charged.

The nearest car park is the 24hr Cumberland Street car park (SW1V 4LR). Parking costs £9 for up to 3hrs, and £12 for 4hrs. This car park accepts pre-bookings.

Taxi


Black cabs are frequent near to the theatre. Alternatively, there is a taxi rank at London Victoria.
